Well, time sure is flying by. Here it is the 7th of December. Are YOU ready for Christmas? With the weather the way it has been that would not be a way of determining we were in December. I personally am glad we are not having to shovel snow and drive on snow packed streets. I know it will come soon enough.
Back to Christmas, are YOU ready for it to come? I sure am. Just put up our tree and ready to wrap presents. Yes I am done with my shopping too. I start about March with my shopping and do not have to deal with the crowds that will be out and about from now until the 24th. Sure makes it more enjoyable.
What do I do in my spare time you ask? Well we make homemade chocolates. We hand dip about 14 different varieties. We have taken over myDad's business. He has been doing it for 15 years and decided it was time to retire so we took over and are now in our second year of production. Dad still comes down and sees to the daily dipping to insure we are doing it with the same quality he did.
We sell our chocolates for $14.00 to $16.00 a. box ( one pound, approx 24 pieces). We are just a small business and only make about 400 pounds a year.
